Activating Adaptability in Life Transitions

8-week online Life Transitions Support Group hosted by Black Mental Health Canada

Starts: Saturday, January 31st, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. EST
Location: Online via Zoom (link provided 48 hours prior to first session)

Activating adaptability across seven decision points can help with shifting from feeling stuck in life transitions to seeing potential for moving forward. This 8-week series can support accountable Black women with making each of those decisions in a way that may generate momentum for a journey.

Session 1 will provide a high-level overview of the 7 decisions. From there, each session will focus on a deep understanding of the decision as it applies to an individual’s current circumstances and broader journey:

  1. Applying present, productive capabilities to a journey.
  2. Acknowledging themes and patterns in difficult times.
  3. Becoming self-equipped for responsible flourishing.
  4. Authoring a proactive and personalized path forward.
  5. Igniting possibilities through increased capacity.
  6. Performing long-term accountable development tactics.
  7. Preserving flowing, flexible, forward-focused movements.

Facilitator Haze Schepmyer will share actionable strategies that can help active participants find stronger direction in life transitions. Joining these conversations may support feeling more grounded, self-aware and equipped for what’s next as individuals and a collective.
