Choosing to be adaptable in the face of challengin Choosing to be adaptable in the face of challenging life events can start with breaking down the decisions ahead of you then building capacity for breaking through each one at a pace you choose.

Adjusting strategies when things change at work ca Adjusting strategies when things change at work can become a pillar of professional growth.

In this short video, I describe how a small shift in mindset can assist with regaining momentum after disruptions decrease some of your capacity for getting things done.

Taking time to pause and reassess your original plans may offer a direct path for getting back on track.

The way we approach 7 decision points can shape ho The way we approach 7 decision points can shape how we manage our movements through big and small life events.

In this reel, I share a framework that can help you with identifying what you’ve already done in transitions, considering what you may want to do now and exploring what could be next for you.

I’ve seen these 7 decision points come up on my own path and in conversations with numerous individuals navigating workplace changes, relationship shifts, health challenges and other life events.

Noticing where you are on a journey can help you spark more intentional conversations as you move along a path toward change.

Where do you see yourself on this list 🤔? Share your thoughts in the comments!

Food and Flow: Activating Mindful Transitions Thro Food and Flow: Activating Mindful Transitions Through Movement and Meals

Rooted in five empowering F Words—Focus, Foundation, Fuel, Fire, and Flow—this interactive, hands-on workshop offers opportunities for you to explore mindful transitions in both your body and your kitchen.

Together, we’ll break presence down into accessible pieces, noticing how we move, eat, react, and reset. With gentle yoga, mindful food practices and group reflection, this session can support:
• Noticing and shifting patterns in how you move through life, on and off your mat
• Nourishing your relationship with food, habits, and energy
• Making space for change—one breath, one bite, one moment at a time

Focus and Foundation:
·      Discovering your current strengths and capacities. What already works for you?
·      Getting grounded in your “plate”, literally and figuratively. What can you hold? What can you release?

Fuel:
·      Igniting energy through movement and mindful nourishment.
·      Taking inventory of your inputs. What’s feeding you? What’s draining you?

Fire:
·      Exploring your reactions in hard moments. What patterns arise when things feel like they’re on fire?
·      Burning what no longer serves, remember what lights you up, and name your personal power.

Flow:
·      Finding your rhythm and letting ease lead the way.
·      Co-creating a “Recipe for Me” and food-based affirmations to carry you forward.

Are past experiences affecting the way you show up Are past experiences affecting the way you show up in personal and professional relationships today?

I use this video to offer some insights on how the barriers you put in place because of previous experiences can be counterproductive for making progress with new connections.

The lack of results in your current relationships can have as much to do with how you respond to another person as how that new coach, colleague or client responds to you.

Developing the habit of acknowledging and adjusting your reactive responses can reduce instances of bringing past experiences forward and make room for more proactive, productive responses.

Are you in the habit of putting other people first Are you in the habit of putting other people first but rarely giving yourself that same level of consideration?

This video offers a quick reflection technique that can help with measuring the immediate impact of your sacrifices to keep people happy. This technique can also get you thinking about different choices going forward that still honour your commitment to helping others.

Whether the context is a small decision at home or a major transition at work, it can be valuable to develop the habit of adjusting your thoughts and behaviours to begin asserting a little more influence on future interactions.

This approach can support individuals who want to gain a clearer perspective on the costs of giving up a lot and the opportunities to give up a little less in personal and professional settings.

Small adjustments in your choices over time can shift your daily life at home and at work.
